How would you describe yourself?: Easy going, positive, very creative in work and in my boating hobbies. I enjoy living a fairly laid back comfortable life, with good quality in all my friendships. I travel a lot, domestically and internationally, and enjoy it. My tastes are varied, but, I enjoy simple things, -- the water, beach, windsurfing, and boating. I enjoy the outdoors a lot. I am always out doing something to keep myself interested in life, and try almost anything at least once. I challenge myself to enjoy life in more creative ways. I am open-minded and culturally educated I think, so, I don't let simple difficulties give me problems. I resolve issues, rather than give up on them. I have a pet, and enjoy others who can appreciate them as well.
How would you describe your ideal partner?: Love to find a woman who is simple in her tastes at times, but, doesn't mind being taken out to enjoy life with me, in a variety of ways. I love to travel, shop frequently in big cities, and manage to have a very creative lifestyle. I think a woman who is open-minded, not stuck in a conservative loop, and can become a partner, that enjoys being with her man doing things in life, would find me very attracted to her. I am not a loner, and don't enjoy being that way very often, except when playing golf..ha.ha. Smiles to all of you. If you knew the world was going to end in 30 days, what would you do?: ha,ha.. enjoy life to the fullest and find a way to survive, but, also to enjoy it to the fullest with the partner in life I have chosen. If you had 10 million dollars to spare, what would you do with it?: Find a great way to invest the money, and enjoy helping those that can't find a way to survive easily to come out of that syndrome of life. I am fully aware of how to make money. So, I know that would only increase my capability to help a family grow and make the life for my other relatives prosper.
How often, and from whom do you ask advice?: I do my own research and have friends that I can always ask for advice.
What quality do you value most in the people of your gender?: Honesty and loyalty, along with commitment to the things they say they will do.
What quality do you value most in the opposite sex?: Courage to be committed to the man in their lives, honesty with men and the ability to see their faults and admit them, and then, improve themselves. Perfection is not required, only improvement. Can we ask more from anyone? I think two people have to learn how to live together well, and it takes time, and patience, doesn't it?
What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?: Nothing prominent at the moment, though a good woman might be something that could do that for me.. who knows, right??
What is the best advice that you give to your children?: There will be a lot more than I can write here..ha.ha.. Stand by for a lot of advice!!
What has produced the biggest impression (shock) on you?: (not shocked by much!) Maybe a scary movie??? ha,ha.. A Revolution can be a little scary, if you let it. Random chaos in strange environments can be a little scary, eh?
The last books that you read?: "The Novel," by Michener, and "Hawaii" by the same author. "Sea Wolf" and "Lord Jim", by Joseph Conrad.
What are your goals now?: Find a good woman that can handle a good man, and be able to spend time with her to build a future together.
Whom do you admire?: Individuals with Character and the strength to perservere in the most difficult of times. *For instance: Ghandi, Many of my fellow colleagues who struggle in their own lives, and overcome difficulties with their continued effort and struggle. It works better when you work hard at it and never give up!!
Do you have a lot of friends?: Yes.. I do, many.
What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?: Fickle vasillating behavior. Weak character.
What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?: Fickleness and inability to commit at all to the things that count in life. Lack of ability to be committed, and to make efforts to keep a relationship working is one of the things that bothers me about some women. I like a woman who knows the value of commitment, as I do. I think if I am to make the effort, she must also. No one is perfect of course.. I don't expect a miracle, only a sincere effort.. and not for 6 months only.. Sorry, that is my thought process. It is more permanently oriented than most.. I don't like it when people are too fickle, in men or women. It irritates me.
What would you like to change in yourself?: The ability to become more open-minded than I am, and patient with some that require it.
